TMS 260 Christmas in July

Happy Tuesday!!
Time for another sketch and prize!
Our sponsor this week is the awesome Your Next Stamp!
They have some adorable stamps, so play along for a chance to win some!
There is this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketch.

Sorry, the pics a little dark.  Had to take it at night.
Time to start thinking about this year's Christmas cards!  I used Penny's Poinsettia for the focal image.  Printed the image twice, colored with Prismacolor pencils, fussy cut part of one image and popped it up with foam tape.  Die cut the image and sponged around the edges while it was still in the die.  Layered a couple scrapes of paper, added a ribbon and jingle bells and a few pearl accents.  First Christmas 2014 card done!!
Now hop on over to the other DT blogs and check out their wonderful creations!

TMS #259

Welcome back TMS fans!
This week's Tuesday Morning sketch is up and ready!
Our sponsor this week is DRS Designs!  Check out their great selection of rubber stamps.
Unfortunately my printer decided to quit working last week, so I could not use the digital stamp I was originally planning on using.  :(
Used water colors to color this sunflower stamp.  Love playing with water colors!  The yellow mat is Spellbinders Adorning Squares die.  A little bakers twin and some jewels finish off my card.
Be sure to stop and see the other Design Team cards, they are amazing!
Now it's your turn!  Show us your take on this sketch and you could win some DRA Design goodies!
Thanks for stopping by!

You are my Sunshine!

Quick little post to share a card I made for the Tombow Sunshine Challenge.
Thanks to Viva La Verve for the fun sketch.
Was trying for a shabby country chic look.  What do you think?

A little water coloring, a little distressing and inking
and this is what I got!
One of my favorite songs!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate
every visit and comment!
God bless!!

TMS # 258 and My Besties!

Woot!Woot!
It's time for another Tuesday Morning Sketch!
And look who our sponsor is this week...
My Besties has the cutest images and you could win 5 of these big eyed beauties!
Make sure you have plenty of time when shopping, because Sherri has one of the largest selections I've ever seen!
Okay are you ready for the sketch?
Here it is..
 and here's my card....
The image was colored with Prisma colored pencils.  I then add some doodled lines around the edge for added interest.  Added some paper lace, strip of flowered paper, flower border die cut, and a button/twine embellishment.  I added some ink to the border strip and a little distressing to give it a more vintage/shabby look. Added a sentiment label that was also inked around the edges, and some Liquid Pearls to the flower centers.  Love how this card turned out and the image is so adorable and fun to color.
Be sure to drop by the other DT member's blogs and leave a little love.  They have some wonderful cards to share with you!

Can't what to see what you create!
Thanks for stopping by!!

TMS 257 with a twist!

Wow! Where did the week go!
I hope everyone had a very happy 4th of July!
Are you ready for another fun sketch?  This one has a twist!
The twist is to use blue, green and black!
Our wonderful and generous sponsor this week is Patti Rowe, CTMH Independent Demonstrator.
Now for the sketch -
Lots of fun possibilities and a great sketch for using up those scraps!

I dug out some of my oldest stamps for this card!  Years ago, when I first got the stamping bug, CTMH was known as DOTS.  These were some of the first stamps I ever purchased!
I inked up two present stamps with Distress inks.  I stamped them off first before adding them to the panel to create a background.  Stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment and matted the panel to some black card stock before adding the black twine and button.  Popped this panel up with foam tape.  Used some scraps for the panels and added a vellum die cut edge topped with a strip of paper with some faux stitching.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the other DT members for some wonderful inspiration!

Remember to add the twist (use blue, green and black) to be eligible for the prize! Have fun creating!

TMS #256 with Sweet n Sassy

Hello Tuesday Morning Sketches fans!
I'm back!
We have a wonderful, simple sketch this week.  Lots of fun possibilities with this Tuesday Morning Sketch!
Our wonderful sponsor this week is Sweet n Sassy stamps!
Here's this weeks sketch -

Here's my card -
I used Sweet n Sassy's Happy Happy Stamp and Die bundle.  I colored the sun with my water brush and some Distress inks.   I used three cloud die cuts, two behind the sun and one for the sentiment.  The sentiment is from Sweet n Sassy's Birthday Greetings clear stamp set.  I tweaked the sketch a little by adding my three enamel dots to the bottom corner, rather than in the top corner.
Be sure to stop by the other DT's blogs and check out their wonderful creations!

Hope you have a fun 4th of July and a great holiday weekend!
Can't wait to see your fabulous creations!
