TMS#340 with Digital Delights

Welcome back!  It's Tuesday and you know what that means!?  It's time for another Tuesday Morning Sketch!

Our sponsor this week is Digital Delights by Louby Loo!

Here is this week's sketch.

and my card...

I used the Digital Delight image Farmer Mitzy for my card.  I used the print and cut feature on my Silhouette cutting machine to cut out the image, so much better then fussy cutting!  I colored the image with Copics then popped it up on my little scene panel.  I created a little scene behind my farmer with a fence stamp, a grass die and a cloud stencil. (little bit of everything in that scene!) Some twill ribbon and twine I colored with Distress ink make up the lower horizontal element of the sketch. (yes, I goofed and forgot it was suppose to be the sentiment panel!) I also added a fun wavy stitch pattern with a stitched die from MFT.   My sentiment was stamped using the Misti stamping tool.

Now it's time to check out the cute cards from the rest of the TMS design team!

Paint along - Mountain

Here is my mountain painting from Sandy Allnock's Paint Along Series #3

I really struggled with this one!  I like the way the mountains and sky turned out, not so much my lake and tree line.  This has been a great learning experience for me, since I've never really water colored before.  Thanks Sandy for taking the time to video these paint along lessons!

Paint Along Day 2 - Lighthouse

Sharing my Day 2 painting from Sandy Allnock's Paint Along Series.

I hesitated to share this because I was thinking it looked to amateurish.  Then I realized, I am an amateur!  So here is my day two painting.  I still have a long way to go, and a lot more to learn, but it's more about the fun then the perfection!

I am also sharing this on The Daily Markers 30 Day Coloring Challenge!

TMS #339 Sami Stamps Lucky Whiskers

Happy Tuesday Morning!  It's Tuesday, which means we made it through Monday!! Yay!!
We have a new Tuesday Morning Sketch for you to play with.

Our wonderful sponsor this week is the one and only Sami Stamps!  One lucky entry will receive a $12.00 shopping to Sami Stamps!!

So let's get to the sketch,

and my card...

I used Sami Stamp's Lucky Whiskers image.  This card is for my granddaughter who loves cats and her favorite color is purple.  I decided to color the clover a purple so it looks like a flower.  I colored the image with my Prisma Colored Pencils.  I tried to give this cute little guy some stripes.  I am happy with the way it turned out. I used some die cut flowers and leafy stems to accent my card.  I also added some clear Wink of Stella glitter to the flowers, if you look close you can see the shimmer.  The flower centers are Liquid Pearls.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you stop by the other DT blogs for some more wonderful card ideas.

Now it's your turn!

Barn Painting

This week Sandy Allnock is teaching a painting along series.  Today was lesson #1: Barn.
Sandy is such an amazing artist, and I really need some lessons as you can tell by my painting!

Still drying on the board!  I gave it my own little touch by painting the top and side section of the barn red.  I had such fun messing with the paints and water!  Can't wait for tomorrow, even though I may have to wait until the weekend to actual join in the painting.
Thanks Sandy for a fun and informative lesson!

Front porch dreaming

Sharing a card I made with a wonderful image from Serendipity Stamps called Porch Flag.
I had a lot of fun water coloring this image with Distress inks.  Makes me wish for warm summer nights!
Such a large, beautiful image, no need to add much to this card at all.  I just added a little banner with my sentiment.  I cut the image out just a little smaller then my card base.
I thinks this would make a great Veteran's Day or 4th of July card.

Thanks for stopping by!
God bless!

Reflections card

Trying to build up my stash of masculine cards.
I've had this image inked up for several months, and I am finally making it into a card!
Thanks to this sketch from Sketch Saturday.

I  added a little distressing and inking to the background panel edges.  I die cut the image and matted it on black card-stock, then popped it up with foam tape.  Some twine adds a little rustic touch.
Great masculine card for any occasion.

Thanks so much for stopping by! God bless!!

Little Gal / TMS 338

Welcome back for another fun Tuesday Morning Sketch!!
We have a brand new sketch and a brand new DT member!!
Please welcome Lee to the TMS team!!

Jenee is our sponsor for this week's prize, and it's a good one!!
Three Spellbinders embossing folders and three new stamps sets!  Awesome!!

And here is our first brand new sketch for 2016!!

So many different ways you can use the floral row element, and it doesn't even need to include flowers!!
Here's my take....

I needed a baby shower card this weekend and I needed it quick! This sketch was just what I needed to create a quick CAS card!  I used a set from Unity Stamps called Tiny Little Gal.
Stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics, then fussy cut out and popped up with foam tape.  Some cute heart ribbon and little heart gems complete my card.

Now be sure to visit the other designer's blogs, and see all the different ways to use the floral row element on this fun sketch.

With Love / TMS 337

Hello TMS fans!  Welcome back for another fun Tuesday Morning Sketch!
Before we get to the sketch, I would like to share an announcement from Melissa.

I have a special announcement to make as well.  We're looking to add a couple more members to the TMS design team.  We'll be adding one very nice, very talented lady next week but I'd like to add two more.  If you're interested in being a part of our team, please follow these steps to apply.

1) You must play along with all 4 sketch challenges the month of February.
2)  You may include other challenges in your card(s) but not another sketch challenge.
3) Each of your blog posts must link back to TMS.
4) When you link your card each week, your name and "DT1" (or DT2, DT3, DT4 depending on which week it is) needs to be the link up name, not the name of your card or blog post.  (i.e., Feb 2:  Melissa DT1, Feb 9: Melissa DT2, etc.)
5) I'm not going to ask you to tell us why you want to be on the team, but if you want to, we'd love to hear it.

Alright everyone!  Have fun.

Now for this week's sketch and prize.
It's my turn to pick my favorite sketch from 2015 and I am also sponsoring the prize!

Prize - Grab bag of stamps (20+)
plus a package of heart doilies and some heart lace ribbon.

and the sketch....

and my card....
I used Technique Tuesday's Poppies stamp from their Greenhouse Society collection.  I stamped the image in Versafine then water-colored the image with Kuretake Gansai Tambi water-colors.
I stamped a simple Love You sentiment so this card can be used for a variety of reasons.  I added a few Clear droplets from Pretty Pink Posh, just for fun!
Thanks so much for dropping by!  Be sure to visit the other DT blogs, they have some wonderful inspiration ready for you!

Remember to add DT to your name when entering if you would like to join the TMS Design Team!!
