Here is my take featuring Bestie with kitty. 

The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils. The papers are from my stash.  I added some hand stitching across the top of the banners and some faux stitching around the blue oval mat.

Welcome back TMS fans!
Sorry I was unable to post last week.  I was away on a mission trip with my daughter and her youth group.  What a great trip!

This week we have a great sketch with tons of possibilities!

This week we're sponsored by SLS Lines.  This is a fun little digi shop on Etsy offering digital stamps and papers.  It has a little something for everyone! 

Now for the sketch....


and my card.....

I used paper from my ever growning stash!  The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and then blended with a Prismacolor colorless blender alcohol marker.  I added a little sparkle to the flowers with a Wink of Stella pen.  A little butterfly die, some sequins and some thread accent the corner of the image panel.

Good Tuesday Morning!
It's  time for another Tuesday Morning Sketch!

This week we have returning sponsor Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet.  This is a fun digi store with digital papers and images that will fit all sorts of tastes.  As you'll see by our design team inspiration, we have sweet, we have fun and we even have... snarky.  

So now for this week's sketch.....
 

and my  take.....

I decided to use a fun image called Smiling Brontosaurus.  I thought he would make a fun birthday card.  I colored him with Copics. (still learning, but I love these markers!) I added a sentiment tag in place of an embellishment.  Embossed the purple strip for a little added dimension, some ribbon and twine finish off my card.

60th Anniversary!!

I took some time over the three day weekend to play!
I made this special anniversary card for a couple that is celebrating 60 years of wedded bliss!  What a privilege to make this card for them!  And while I am also making invitations to my son's wedding!
Thanks to the sketch from MFT card challenge!

So this may not be the best quality of picture, but I wanted one that would show the foil shine on the "60".   This is my first try and foiling, and I admit, it was fun!
  Stamped the sentiment on vellum and added some pearl accents!  A little lace down the edges gives a little country elegance to a simple card!
