On to this week's sketch.
I inked up my Technique Tuesday Peony stamp and tried a little water coloring with my Inktense pencils. Die cut two nesting Spellbinder ovals. The smaller one I sponged with Simon Says Stamp Sea Glass, the larger one I used the Sea Glass ink and my SU Canvas background stamp. After fussy cutting the flowers I popped the image up with foam tape. Some washi tape, black gems and some ribbon and a button finish off the card. I have been making quite a few cards with no sentiment. I like that the card can be used for a variety of reasons.

TMS 237 and A Little Wishful Thinking
A little good news and a little bad news.
The good news it it's Tuesday! Time for another fun TMS sketch to try!
The bad news, we received a few more inches of snow on Monday, it is officially the snowiness winter on record here in Indiana. Ugh!
So, let's concentrate on the good news! Melissa has picked out a fun sketch for us this week.
To cheer myself up from the bad news, I made this little Easter card. At least I can look at it and dream of spring!!

The cute bunny is a digital image from our sponsor this week, Stitchy Bear's Digital Outlet. They have over 5,000 digital images to choose from, something for everyone!
After coloring the image with my Prismacolor pencils, I stamped and cut out four Easter eggs that I then piled in front of the bunny. Used my grass border punch and a cloud stencil to create a springtime scene for this cute little bunny!

Now it's your turn! Be sure to link up and share your creation. One random entry will win some Stitchy Bear goodies! Come on and play along with us at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

What a blessing!
Today I was honored to stand up and be a sponsor for a very special young lady on her Confirmation. She is a daughter of a dear friend and I have known her since birth. In fact I was her daycare provider for the first 11 years of her life and she and my daughter are like sisters. I am so proud of her!
Thanks to Sweet Sunday Sketch I was inspired to make her this encouraging card.

I used the Verve set Jeremiah 29:11. Not sure if they still carry this set, but it is one of my favorite scripture quotes! Used Milled Lavender Distress Ink to shade the sentiment panel and die the seam binding. Stamped the cross image lightly behind the sentiment. Added a pearl cluster button to finish off the card.
I thought it turned out nice for such a simple card!
Thanks for stopping by, I'd love it if you left a comment!
Have a blessed week!

TMS 236 Bright and Cheery
Welcome back TMS fans! Hope you had fun with last weeks sketch, can't wait to see what you do this week!
This week is a challenge week, so remember to do add some pearls and lace to you project. You must add the twist to be eligible for the prize.
Our sponsor this week is All Dressed Up Digital Stamps. The prize is your choice of 2 adorable images!
Here is the sketch I picked for this weeks challenge.
Here is my very bright and very busy card!
Can you tell I'm ready for spring! I used one of the All Dressed Up freebies. I fussy cut the largest butterfly and colored it with Distress markers and Tombow markers. Added some pearls for the flower centers on the butterfly wings. A little lace with some twine woven through was added to the pink plaid panel. To finish off the card I added some doodle stitches around the base and around the yellow panel under the butterfly.
Thanks for stopping by, now head on over to the other Design Team members blogs for more inspiration.

FWF and a little inspiration!
Finally had time to complete this card! It's been in the works for a couple of weeks now but life kept me from finishing it until now. I used this month's Be Inspired sketch and one of my all time favorite Itty Bitty's, Wishing You Joy.
Somewhere on line I saw a watercolor project where they had water colored on twill. So when I found this wide twill ribbon in HL, I just had to try it. Stamped the image in Versamark then used my Distress Inks to color in the image. Added some Vintage Photo Distress Ink around the image panel and on all the layers to give it a more vintage feel. I added a little bit of brown Prismacolor marker to the flower button to age it. Seam binding and twine bow to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you will consider following! :)
Have a blessed weekend!
Calling for more snow here in Indiana. Gotta love it!

I went CAS with this sketch. I used the super cute alpha paper in the BABY CAKES paper pack. Stamped the Heartfelt Birthday Wish stamp in Versamark and colored it with my Inktense pencils and water brush. Added a little piercing and a little embossing on the orange layer. Popped the sentiment up with foam tape. A little bit of washi cuteness in the corner and a few Durables Artisan Studs on the sentiment circle finish off this card.
