I'm back!  Happy Tuesday morning everyone!
I was unable to participate in last week's sketch because I was busy with my son's wedding!
My oldest son was married on Aug. 15th, so happy for him and his lovely bride!
And as a bonus I am now officially a Grandma!  Congrats to the happy family!

OK, now on to this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketch!

and my card.....

I used Race Car Scottie for my cute little boy card! 

I colored the image with a combination of Prismacolor pencils and Distress markers.  I embossed the green layer with an arrow embossing folder.  I sanded the edges of the red panel and then stamped some tire tracks for a fun little detail.  I added Glossy Accents to the goggles and the car's wind shield. A little hand cross stitching and this fun little card was done.

TMS #313 with Bugaboo!

Happy Tuesday Morning!!
We are back with another sketch and one of my favorite sponsors!

Bugaboo is one of my favorite digital stamp shops!  Love all the fun images! Such a great variety, from cute to fun to a little racy!   This week's winner will win 7 images of their choice!

and my card featuring Stella and Gus Socks and Sandles.

Sorry my picture is a little blurry.  I flipped the sketch to fit my image better.  I fell in love with this fun image!  And I really do know someone who wears socks with their sandals, I plan on giving this card to them.
I colored the image with a combination of Prismacolor pencils and Distress markers.  I did find the triangle element to this card challenging.  Not sure why, I just had a hard time finding the right size to satisfy me.

TMS #312 Masculine card

Welcome back for another fun Tuesday Morning Sketch!
Melissa has a great sketch this week, lots of layering possibilities!

and my card.....

I used a Spellbinders Sprocket die for my circle element.  My cars are heat embossed on colored paper with Watering Can EP.  I then fussy cut them out and popped them up with foam tape.  I used my sanding block on the edges of the background paper to give it a worn look.  A few sequins finish off this masculine card.

Here is my take featuring Bestie with kitty. 

The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils. The papers are from my stash.  I added some hand stitching across the top of the banners and some faux stitching around the blue oval mat.

Welcome back TMS fans!
Sorry I was unable to post last week.  I was away on a mission trip with my daughter and her youth group.  What a great trip!

This week we have a great sketch with tons of possibilities!

This week we're sponsored by SLS Lines.  This is a fun little digi shop on Etsy offering digital stamps and papers.  It has a little something for everyone! 

Now for the sketch....


and my card.....

I used paper from my ever growning stash!  The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and then blended with a Prismacolor colorless blender alcohol marker.  I added a little sparkle to the flowers with a Wink of Stella pen.  A little butterfly die, some sequins and some thread accent the corner of the image panel.

Good Tuesday Morning!
It's  time for another Tuesday Morning Sketch!

This week we have returning sponsor Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet.  This is a fun digi store with digital papers and images that will fit all sorts of tastes.  As you'll see by our design team inspiration, we have sweet, we have fun and we even have... snarky.  

So now for this week's sketch.....
 

and my  take.....

I decided to use a fun image called Smiling Brontosaurus.  I thought he would make a fun birthday card.  I colored him with Copics. (still learning, but I love these markers!) I added a sentiment tag in place of an embellishment.  Embossed the purple strip for a little added dimension, some ribbon and twine finish off my card.

60th Anniversary!!

I took some time over the three day weekend to play!
I made this special anniversary card for a couple that is celebrating 60 years of wedded bliss!  What a privilege to make this card for them!  And while I am also making invitations to my son's wedding!
Thanks to the sketch from MFT card challenge!

So this may not be the best quality of picture, but I wanted one that would show the foil shine on the "60".   This is my first try and foiling, and I admit, it was fun!
  Stamped the sentiment on vellum and added some pearl accents!  A little lace down the edges gives a little country elegance to a simple card!
