Very Special

Created this card for the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge #178.  It is an anything goes challenge with a twist.  The twist is to try a new technique.  Since I am new to card making/paper crafts, almost all the techniques are new to me!  Here I tried the brayered sky technique in the circle with the shadow flowers.  I also tried a faux marble technique on the background using alcohol inks and water.  I really like the way the ink marbled on the paper.  For the layout of the card I used sketch #276 from Verve's Mojo Monday challenge.

  1. this is adorable, I luv how you stamped the flowers on the darker background....hope you have a wonderful weekend!

    enjoy *~*

  2. Beautiful card!! Both of your new techniques worked out perfectly!!
