Are you ready for another great TMS sketch? This week Jenee has picked her favorite sketch from 2013. Our wonderful sponsor this week is Sweet and Sassy Stamps. If you are not familiar with Sweet and Sassy Stamps, head on over and check them out. They have some wonderful stamps!
I decided to make a window card from this sketch. It actually was a quick and fairly easy card to make. I cut my pattern paper to size then used removable adhesive to center it on my card. I ran it through my Big Shot using a square Sizzix die to create a window. I then removed the pattern paper, inked the edges of the card base with Distress inks. I added some seam binding and my key charm before permanently adhering the panel to my card base. I made a frame using two square dies. I die cut a heart, then used Sweet and Sassy's Music background stamp and Worn Lipstick Distress ink to create the music pattern. I then sponged the heart using a combination of Spun Sugar and Tattered Rose Distressed Inks. I embossed a square piece of card stock with my Swiss dot embossing folder that had been inked up with Pumice Stone Distressed Ink. I centered the embossed square in the window, then popped up the heart with foam tape.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #233
Welcome back for another fun sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches! Debbie has picked her favorite sketch from 2013 to play with this week. Our wonderful sponsor this week is the Doodle Pantry.
I used Doodle Pantry's Monster Mash set to create this bright and fun birthday card. This set comes with both colored and uncolored digital stamps, sentiments and papers!! I am having printer troubles, so opted not to use the paper that was included in the set :(
Colored up three of the monsters with Prismacolor pencils then fussy cut them out and popped them up with foam tape. I decided the three little monsters would fit better if I flipped the sketch. Embossed the two banners then added my sentiment banner across the top of the other two. I also added a little doodled stitches around the yellow base.
Now it's your turn! Use the sketch for your creation then link it up at Tuesday Morning Sketches for a chance to win some adorable digital images from the Doodle Pantry!

His Words
Sharing a card that I created using some word art from Ginger's House and a cute digital Stamp from Sassy Cheryl's, Pure Joy.
Used this sketch from Core'dinations for my layout.
Used this sketch from Core'dinations for my layout.
As soon as I saw this word art I knew I wanted to use it! Love this sentiment! Then Sassy Cheryl came out with her Pure Joy digital image and I knew I wanted it for this sentiment!
The background I made way back and stuck it in my "I'll use this later file". Die cut three fishtail banners with some Core'dinations card stock, then embossed them with a Tim Holtz embossing folder. Sanded the banners to bring out the core before adhering to my card base. The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils.

Just a little thank you
Found a little time to ink up one of my favorite Verve sentiment stamps to create a thank you card. Used one of the January Viva la Verve sketches to kick my mojo into gear.
I love this sentiment, I think it is perfect for thank you notes. I also used one of the heart stamps from Verve's No Matter What set. A little die cutting, a little embossing and a little inking, makes a nice little thank you card! The thank you stamp is also from Verve; a free gift in my first order! Love the way Verve treat their customers!
Thanks for stopping by, have a blessed week!
New followers always welcomed!!

TMS #232 Tone on Tone
Tuesday Morning Sketches is starting the year by looking back at 2013. Each of the design team members will be picking their favorite sketch from 2013. This week Bonnie has picked sketch # 184. This week is also our judged challenge so be sure to do the twist - tone on tone/monochromatic.
Our sponsor this week is our very own, multi-talented Jessi Fogan. Along with making amazing cards, Jessi also crochets these beautiful mats!
Aren't they gorgeous?! And just in time for Valentine's day cards!
Remember in order to be in the running for these wonderful mats, your must do the twist - tone on tone/monochromatic.

For my card I went with peach tones (sorry for the poor picture quality, it really is more peach than orange!)
I used some peach card stock for the base and the fishtail banner. The patterned paper is from The Paper Studio. I embossed the banner then added some stitching to the top. Inked up the edges with some SU Crumb Cake. I die cut a circle to fit inside the crocheted mat. I then inked up a a two step stamp from There She Goes Stamps (sorry they went out of business at the end of 2013) I stamped off some ink before stamping on the mat, so the images would have a softer/faded look. I then stamped one fully inked, colored it with Dried Marigold distress ink and my water brush, then fussy cut out. The sentiment and label are both from Verve Stamps. The flower and label are both popped up with foam tape. Two little gems finish off the sentiment label.
Thanks for stopping by, please take time to drop by the other design team members blogs and leave a little love! They have some amazing cards to share with you!
Remember: to win the mats, do the twist. Tone on tone/Monochromatic

Any Occasion Masculine Card
Received my Derwent Inktense pencils in the mail yesterday and couldn't wait to try them out. Inked up the lighthouse image from A Guiding Light set by Flourishes, and started coloring. I think I'm in love with these pencils!
Stamped the image on mixed media paper with Versamark and black EP. Used my water brush to paint this seashore scene. I decided not to stamp a sentiment on the front so I can use it later for any number of occasions. I think it makes a versatile masculine card.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! God bless!!

Love you this much!
Since I'm still snowed in, I decided to spend a little time playing. No not in the snow, at my craft desk where its warm! Used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch to give the process a jump start!
Used my newest Sassy Cheryl's digital stamp, Come on Get Happy to create this little Valentine card. Colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. The patterned paper is from The Paper Studio, The Linen Door. The two large hearts were cut using my Sizzix die. Stamped the "I Love You" on one heart and the scalleped heart on the other with Versafine. The scalloped heart and the small hearts are from Verve's No Matter What set. The "this much" part of the sentiment was created in MS Word. I don't think the picture does this card justice, even my boys said it was cute!

Welcome to 2014!! TMS #231
I am so excited to start a new year at TMS! For the first few weeks we will be taking a look back at 2013. Melissa has asked each design team member to pick a favorite sketch. We start off with Angela's pick, sketch #190 from March 19th.
Our sponsor this week is DeeDee's Digis! I used the adorable set "Oh Hoppy Day". Deedee's sets are wonderful, they include both colored and uncolored images and sentiments.
I chose to use the uncolored image and color him up with my Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I created my own patterned paper for the banners. Die cut the sentiment with a banner die, then adhered it to a toothpick to create a little flag. I used my craft knife to cut a slit by the kangaroos paw so he could "hold" the flag. Used Spellbinders Wonky Rectangles to cut out my image and a layering panel. Pierced the panel and popped the image up with foam tape. Added some sparkly brads that I've had in my stash forever, to the top of the fishtail banners. It's not hard to create a cute card with Deedee's images!
Now it's your turn! Come on and play along with us at TMS!!
Here's some more wonderful inspiration from the rest of the design team:
Since this is my first TMS post since the new year, Happy New Year! God bless!!

What To Do When Your Snowed In?
Snow day!! Looks like a great day to play! Inside of course since the wind chill is about 30 below!!
When I saw the colors on Color Throwdown #273, I just couldn't resist playing with my new Technique Tuesday Greenhouse Society stamp, Clematis. And to help my mojo along, I used the sketch from My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club #157.
Such a simple card to make, but I love how it turned out! I cut a strip of watercolor paper, using Versafine ink I stamped the image repeatedly until I had my panel covered. I then used my water brush and Peacock Feathers Distressed Ink to color a select few of the flowers. Adhered the image to a matching piece of card stock. Used my Spellbinders A2 matting basic dies to cut the gray panels. Stamped my SU sentiment in the lower corner of the light gray panel. Pierced around the dark gray mat before layering the other panels to it. Used foam tape to adhere the layers to my card base. I left the card simple with no embellishments or glitter.
Thanks for stopping by my little blog. Hope you will consider following.
