TMS 242 Plane Awesome!

Happy Tuesday!  Here's this weeks fun little sketch.

Our sponsor this week is My Creative Classroom.   Play along with us this week and you could win a free class!
Here's my take on this week's sketch.

I needed a masculine thank you card and I think this will fit the bill quit nicely!  The stamp is from Taylored Expressions.  I used the matching die to cut it out and popped it up with foam tape.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set as the plane.  Quick and easy this week!

Be sure to check out how the other designers interpreted this sketch.  They have some wonderful cards to share with you!!

TMS #241 Newly Weds

Good Tuesday morning!  So happy you stopped by!
Are you ready for another sketch to try?
Our sponsor this week is the Stamp Doctor.  Dr. Mechele is the owner of The Stamp Doctor and she carries a couple of different stamp brands as well as exclusive to TSD.  She also designs dies that Spellbinders produces for her.  Amazing stuff!  Head on over and check out all the wonderful stamping and paper crafting supplies.  Who doesn't want to win some crafty goodies?
So play along for your chance to win! Link up your creations at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

I used this sketch to create a wedding card for my niece who just got married this past weekend.  I love being able to match my card papers to the wedding colors.  I started by embossing the gray card base.  I used Happy Couple by Stampendous for my image.  I used Smooch glimmer on the bride's veil; it added just the right amount of sparkle!  I used Spellbinder's Romantic Rectangles (perfect choice for a wedding card!) for the mat and popped the image up with foam tape.  Added a silver ribbon and bow with a heart in the center; three Dazzle heart stickers on the bottom corner finish off this card.

FWF

Quick little FWF post.
I fell in love with this stamp from the March KOTM.  Can't wait for summer, I'd love to be sitting here with a nice cool drink!

Used my Intense pencils and water brush to try and create a sunny summer day.

Sorry for the poor picture quality.  My daughter was inducted into the National Honor Society this evening so it was dark out by the time I took the picture.

Here is my daughter (on the right) after the induction ceremony.  I was so happy her best friend had the honor of introducing her tonight.  So proud of both of them.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a wonderful weekend!
God bless!!

Did I mention how excited I am to be a guest on the hop today!!
I was thrilled when I won the Jan. 9th Be Inspired Challenge, Bunches of Love, and I am so happy to be a guest on today's hop!

A brand new Unity be inspired Challenge starts today!

Since we had another snow day on Wednesday, I had a little extra time to play with some of my newest Unity goodies!

This card features stamps from the March 2014 KOTM, The Reason Someone Smiles.  Love this background stamp!  The colors didn't come through very well.  The banners look more red and lime than their true pink and yellow.

Here's a few more cards featuring some Unity awesomeness!

Happy Tuesday! TMS #240

Happy Tuesday!!  It's time for a TMS challenge!! This week is our monthly judged challenge, so be sure to add the twist to your project.
Our twist this month is to use three B's.  So the choice is yours, just pick three elements that start with B.  For example - you can use buttons, bows, brads, beads, butterfly or use a B image - boat, bunny, balloons, bear, ballerina.... you get the picture.

Did I mention our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Digit Stamps!  Yeah!!  You could win your choice of 7 digital images!  How awesome is that?!!

Now for the sketch...

For my B's I have a bunny (Funny Bunny -Egg Flower), a bow, blossoms, brad (Easter egg), and butterflies on my patterned paper.
Remember to be eligible to win this week's prize, use at least 3 B's on your project.
Be sure to stop by the other Design Team member's blogs for more "B"eautiful inspiration!

Spring Showers

I'm dreaming of spring showers but it looks like another snow storm.  This is one long winter and all I can do is dream of spring!

Playing with one of my new Sassy Cheryl images!

Wish I had watched Cheryl's blending tutorial before I had colored my image.  If colored pencils are your go to coloring medium, then Cheryl has a great tutorial for you HERE.  I used my Prismacolor pencils, a little Distress markers and some Gelatos to create this little card.  Cut the image panel using Spellbinders Wonky Rectangles.  The flower is a Sizzix die and the sentiment tag was made with a paper punch.

Thanks for stopping by my little blog! Have a blessed weekend!

I would love it if you left a comment!
