Mother's Day!

One down, one to go! Finished one of my Mother's Day cards! Nothing like waiting to the last minute.  Used colors from the color challenge at Flourishes.

The layer under the image looks more orange in the picture than it really is.  Probably due to my trying to photograph it at night.  I also used my new Flourishes stamp set, Garden Gate.

Stamped the image on some watercolor paper and cut it out with a SU die (sorry can't remember the name of the die set).  Then I used some Distressed markers to watercolor the image.  One of my first attempts at watercolor.  Love the look, but I really need more practice. Oh darn, that means more time crafting!  I'm sure my DH will understand!  Used Forest Moss Distressed Ink to ink up around the card base.  Embossed one side of the darker pink card stock with a Darice Flourish embossing folder.  Layered the card stocks together, added some ribbon and a bow.  Stamped the sentiment on some card stock, die cut it with another SU die and inked it up while it was still in the die.  Attached it with some foam tape and added a couple pearls.
Thanks for stopping by, God bless!!
