Took a break and created this quick little card. I used the sketch over at Tuesday Morning Sketches for the layout. I used the stamp set I received from The Stamps of Life February club set; it's called boots4rain. Cute little set with some fun sentiments. The wave is a Sizzix die I bought to use for scrap booking my daughters swim team pictures. I think it goes pretty good with this stamp set. I'm not to happy with the sentiment banner, so I may re-do it if I find time, then again I may just leave it. It is what it is! Have a busy weekend coming up. My youngest son is receiving his Confirmation this Sunday! I am truly blessed!
Thanks for stopping by! God bless!!

Fun-gi
I am finally entering a challenge over at The Alley Way Stamps! I have been following the Alley Way blog for some time now, and am finally jumping in! Not only does she have some of the most adorable stamps I've ever seen, she gives away freebies!! I picked this freebie in order to enter the Re-be inspired challenge #22. Did I mention not only are there free images, but there are free sentiments also!! Love the play on words! For my card, I printed out the sentiments and image. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils, then fussy cut it out. I cut some "grass" with my Friskers border punch and added some twine. I popped the grass up with foam tape. It;s hard to tell in the picture. Sorry for the poor picture quality, had to take it at night. Hope I did this cute image justice. Thanks for looking. God bless!!

Don't Worry
Created this card using three different inspirations! I used the layout from the Viva la Verve February Challenge over at SCS. I used the color inspiration over at Flourishes Birthday Blog Hop and I used the tutorial for how to make lace rosettes from Really Reasonable Ribbons! The stamp set I used is Kids at Play from Flourishes. It has cute shadow images of kids that are great for celebration/birthday cards. Really Reasonable Ribbons has a great and easy tutorial on how to make lace rosettes. Wish I had some nice crochet lace but I had to make due with what I had on hand. I have given up buying any crafty supplies for Lent! 40 days of no shopping! Yes it is a hard Lenten promise to keep, but not compared to the sacrifice Jesus made for me! Thanks for stopping by! God bless!!

Birthday Balloons
It seems like forever since I've posted! Here's a little card I created using the sketch over at Mojo Monday. As soon as I saw the sketch, I thought balloons! I had recently purchased a new Tiddly Inks digi image called Flying High Anna Belle. It has an adorable little girl w/balloons image and two little dog images! So this is what I created! The large balloons are paper pieced on patterned paper. I colored the dog digi with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. Cut the dog image out and popped it up with foam tape. The background was created with a template I purchased years ago and some Distressed Ink. Added some twine and a button, stamped the greeting in the lower right corner. Done!!

Note of Thanks
Finally had time to play with some Unity Stamps that I ordered a month or so ago. Made this card with the sketch on the Unity Challenge Blog. I love this stamp set! It is so easy to make a cute card with this stamp set. I am always in need of Thank You cards. Used a craft card base, some washi tape, and a little red paper cut into a fish tail tag. Easy peasy!

Wishing You....
Squeezed another card in, and right under the wire for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge #206! Received this stamp set, Kids at Play, in a grab bag I ordered from Flourishes. I love these shadow images.
I used colors from Sweet and Sassy's inspiration challenge at SCS. Did a little faux stitching and paper piercing. Used brown embossing powder to give the shadow a little softer look.

Love Always
Ok, last card to post this weekend! Wish I had time to make a couple more but looks like the ironing is not getting done by its self! This is the first circle card I have ever made. Decide to give it a try using the sketch from Deconstructing Jen challenge #88. Used another cute Tiddly Inks image! I really need more practice with the sizing when I print my digis. Actually, I just need more practice all around when it comes to paper crafting!

Love you Lots
Another little card. Created this one with the new Verve Stamp set, No Matter What. I used the sketch in this weeks Mojo Monday Challenge. I like this set, it has sentiments you can use for other occasions, not just Valentine's Day. Who says you need to wait until Valentine's Day to tell the people you love how you feel!

Happy Easter
Had time between housework and filing taxes to do a little card making! Made this card with the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches #184. Easter comes early this year, so I'm trying to get a head start on Easter cards. The PP is from my stash and the cute bunny image is from Meljen's Designs.
