TMS #298 with DeeDee's Digis

Who's ready for another fun sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches?!
AND
another great sponsor!!

This week's sponsor is one of our favorites - Deedee's Digis.  If you're not familiar with this sweet little shop, you really should stop by.  The owner is one of the nicest people I know.  She is devoted to her family, her faith and her art.  If you're a fan of cute, whimsical, family friendly images that not only is great for card making, but scrapbooking as well, I encourage you to do a little shopping on Deedee's Digis.

Now for the sketch...

I used an image from Deedee's Whole Latte Love set.  I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils.  I added a little Glossy Accents to the heart on the cup, even though you can't really make it out in the picture.
I sponged on a little Distress ink to the wood veneer hearts.  Some twine and a button finish off the card.

Now before you run off and start creating, please visit the other design team member's blogs.  They have some awesome inspiration ready for you!

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the blogging world!
Have a great day! God bless!!

TMS 297 and DRS Stamps!!

Welcome back TMS fans!
We had some amazing entries last week!  Hope you can join in the fun again this week!

This week's sponsor is another returning favorite - DRS Designs!  They'll be offering a shopping voucher so you can get your hands on some of their great stamps.

On to this weeks sketch....

For my card I used the DRS stamps, I Remembered and Leonard Pigs Dance of Joy.  I colored this fun little pig with Copics.  I used some adhesive paper I picked up on sale at Michael's this weekend.  It's actually like little sheets of washi tape.  Verdict is still out on it!  Not sure how well I like it.  A few homemade enamel dots and some black twine for accent, finish off this fun belated birthday card!

Be sure to stop by and say hi to the other DT members, they have some amazing cards to share with you!

Can't wait to see what you create with this fun and simple sketch!

Thanks for stopping by!
God bless!!

April Showers

Sharing a little card I put together last night.
I used the sketch for Sweet Sunday Sketch and a Tiddly Inks image I've had for some time, but never took the time to color it.

To create my background, I sponged on some distressed inks to the top panel before adding some raindrops using a stencil and embossing paste.  I colored the image, Donna, with Copic markers.  I then used my scraped paint stencil to create rain drops/streaks on the image panel.  Stamped my sentiment on my fishtail banner, added some twine and a button to finish off my card.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great weekend!
God bless!!

I think this Wagon Wheel image from Doodle Pantry makes a great masculine card.

TMS #295 with Bugaboo!

Good Tuesday morning!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!!

We have one of my favorite sponsor's this week, Bugaboo!!
Bugaboo is one of my all time favorite digital image stores, so many fun images to choose from!

So to win some Bugaboo awesomeness for yourself, just follow this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch to create a card.  Then link it up over at the Tuesday Morning blog.  We will pick one random entry to win some Bugaboo images!

So on to this week's sketch....

As you can see, I flipped the sketch.
I used one of the newer Bugaboo images, Spring Elephant 1.    The original image has flowers and a butterfly, but since I was fussy cutting, I cut them out to save time.  Plus since this card is for my grandson's 2nd birthday, I think it looks a little more masculine without the flowers.  I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils.  I sponged some clouds onto the blue oval panel.  I cut the balloon with my Silhouette.  I then applied black ink to the edges of the balloon so it looks more like a stamped image,  I did add some glitter to the little heart on the elephant.  Note to self - clean tip of glitter pen before adding glitter to next object.  I ended up with a little red glitter line on my balloon because I didn't think to clean my glitter pen tip before I added glitter to the balloon, so I accidentally transferred some red ink  from the heart, to the balloon.  I popped the image and the balloon up with foam tape for some dimension.  A little black string ties the balloon to the elephant's trunk.

Now be sure to check out what the other design team members created.

Remember to link up your creation by Sunday evening to be in the random draw for some Bugaboo images!
Thanks for stopping by!  God bless!

Bella Birthday card

Today I'm sharing the birthday card I made for my sister.
I used Stampingbella's Caitlyn has a Cupcake Party!

I went with a pastel color combo.  The image is colored using Prismacolor pencils.  It's hard to tell in the picture, but I did add some silver Wink of Stella to the cupcake tray and some clear glitter around the frill on the skirt bottom.  Added a little glitter to the small white heart and a few sequins for accent.  I added some stitching to the top of the fishtail banners.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have a very happy and blessed Easter weekend!
