TMS # 247 Happy Tuesday!

Hi everyone!
Welcome back for another wonderful sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches!
Melissa has a $10.00 Michael's gift card for one lucky participant!
So be sure to link up your creation for a chance to win this weeks prize.
Here is the sketch we are playing with this week:

Used some paper from my stash.  Stamped my sentiment in brown ink before die cutting and layering it on a blue oval.  Added some paper flowers, a button and a few pearls.  I sponged the little wooden bird with some Distress ink before adding him to the card.  I was surprised at how quick this card came together.
Be sure to stop by the other Design Team members blogs for more wonderful examples.

Sharing a little card I created using the sketch from My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club.

MFTWSC172

The pink background was created with a stencil I won during a blog hop.  The image is Sassy Cheryl's Have You Heard digital stamp.  Colored with Prisma color pencils.  Used a couple scraps for the banners and some little die cut flowers.  Added some gems to the flower center.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Really quick and easy card this week. The flower image is from Unity Stamps.  I stamped the image using Versamark and black EP.  Used my Inktense pencils and water brush to color the image.  I used Spellbinders circles to cut out the image and the mat.  Cut three banners from scrap papers.  I sanded around the edges of the pink panel before stamping the sentiment.
Be sure to visit the other design team members blogs for more wonderful inspiration.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #245

Good Tuesday Morning!
Are you ready for another sketch?  We have a fun one this week and a new sponsor!
Our sponsor this week is Sami Stamps.

You can find Sami Stamps store HERE and her blog HERE.  The prize is a voucher for $12 which would equate to 3 digis of the winner's choice.  Let's get started!

Here is this weeks sketch:

Lots of wonderful possibilities with this sketch.
I decided to finish one more Easter card using Sami Stamps Egg Cluster.
After printing the image I colored it using Prismacolor pencils, then cut it out.  I sponged a blue background before adhering some paper punched grass.  I punched two grass layers and positioned the eggs in between the layers.  Stamped the Easter greeting on a die cut flag, then added a crocheted flower with a button center and a twine bow.  The flower was colored using some water and Distress inks.  A little bit of hand stitched zig zags finished off the card.
The other Design Team members have some incredible cards to share with you.  So many wonderful takes on this weeks sketch!

TMS 244 with a Twist

Happy Tuesday!  We have another fun sketch this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
Our sweet sponsor this week is Sweet and Sassy Stamps!
This is a twist week, so be sure to add the twist to your card to be eligible to win this weeks prize. The twist is Rainy Days.  We sure are having some rainy days here in Indiana.  Oh well, at least it's not snow!

Now for our sketch -

Adding the twist sure was a challenge for me this week.  I finally decided on a puddle and rain boots.  I added a little Stickles to the puddle to try and give it some ripples.  If you look close you can see them.  I also added some Stickles to the dark blue rain drops.  Paper pieced the boots and added some homemade enamel dots.
Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to stop by and say hi to the other designers.

Remember to add the Rain Days twist to your project.  Can't wait to see what you create!

TMS #243 Oh Happy Day!

Welcome back friends!  Can you believe it's April 1st!  Hope you don't get fooled today!
This week we have a fun sketch and a brand new sponsor - Sunflower Field.
Here's a little about our generous sponsor:

We are a small company located in Finland and we offer 'Cozy Home Products and Crafters' Essentials'.

We have our own 'Sunflowerfield Designs' rubber and digi stamps designed by Vanja Stevanovic and stamps from three fabulous companies: Wild Rose Studio, Whimsy Stamps and Crafty Sentiment Designs.
In our webstore you will find quality ink pads, designer paper packs, different embellishments (brads, gems, pearls, charms...); wooden elements like: hearts, stars, flowers... then satin flowers, paper roses, laces, ribbons, acrylic blocks and more.  We ship internationally with low postage costs and we have a regular 24% VAT discount for all countries outside EU.

Now for this week sketch.

I went with another masculine card this week.  I have quite a few male birthday's coming up in April, so I used this weeks sketch to create this birthday card.  It could easily be an all occasion card.
I love these little gear sequins, but they were too small by themselves, so I added them to some cork circles I had left over from another project.

Before you run off to your craft room, stop and visit the other Design Team members.  They have some wonderful cards ready for you!

Hope you can join us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Can't wait to see what you create!
Enjoy your April Fools Day!
