TMS # 294 Happy Easter

Happy Tuesday Morning everyone!
I hope your ready for another fun sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

We're super excited for this week's sponsor.  SVG Attic is joining us and it's the first time ever that we've had an svg company sponsor us!  Be sure to stop by SVG Attic and check out their awesome cut files!

Are you ready to get started?
Here's your sketch for this week....
Remember,  Flip it, twist it, add your own flair.  We just need to be able to see the basic sketch and we can't wait to see what you create with it.

Here is my take...
Unfortunately, I was unable to use a SVG cut on my card.
I created an Easter card using a stamp from Sweet and Sassy.  I've had this stamp for a year or so, but this is the first time I've actually use it!
I colored the cross with my Inktense pencils and water brush.  I tried to create an Easter sun rise.
I kept the card simple, keeping the focus on this beautiful cross.

Please take time to stop by the other team member's blogs and see what they've created for you this week.

Now it's time to have some fun and create something beautiful!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a blessed Easter!

Another Confirmation card

I used the sketch from week 4 of Viva la Verve March challenge to create another Confirmation card.
Now my cards are ready for this wonderful event!

I used one of the verses from the set, Faith Medley.  The cross is from an old set called Blessed Christmas.
I used some seam binding ribbon in place of the tag.  The cross was stamped in Versamark, then heat embossed with gold EP.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have an blessed Holy Week!

Hello and Happy Tuesday!
We've got a great sketch for you this week, so I hope you can take some time to play along!

We have a brand new sponsor this week - Sweet Pea Stamps!
Sweet Pea Stamps offers a wide variety of images, with 30 artists imagery available in both rubber stamp and digital formats, I'm sure everyone will find something to fall in love with.

And now for this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch...

I used one of Conie Fong's images,
Bella Sending you Smiles.
How cute is this image?!
I colored the image with Primsacolor pencils.  Added a little glimmer to the balloon and the tiny heart on the envelope.  I fussy cut the image and popped it up with foam tape,  I choose some pretty spring colors for my card.

Now be sure to hop on over to the other DT blogs and leave them a little love.

Remember to link up your creation by this Sunday evening in order to be in the random drawing for some Sweat Pea sweetness!

Confirmation card

I used the sketch from week three of March's Viva la Verve to create this Confirmation card.
In a few weeks my daughter and a very close friend will be receiving the sacrament of Confirmation.
This sketch gave me the inspiration I needed to create a card for this wonderful occasion.

The sentiment and cross are from Verve's Weary World set.  This is actually a Christmas set, that I never had the chance to use yet. I think the sentiment can be used for just about any occasion.
The cross was stamped with Versamark and then heat embossed using silver embossing powder.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
I always enjoy hearing from you, so please leave a comment.

God bless!!

Now for this weeks sketch...

I turned the sketch for my card...

The daffodil image is from Technique Tuesday's Greenhouse Society.  I stamped it in Versafine then water colored it with my Inktense water color pencils.  I added a few sequins for added interest.  Simple little spring card.

The rest of the design team has some more awesomeness to share with you before you run off to create.  Be sure to visit their blogs.

Getting my Verve On!

Sharing a card I created using week 2 of the  March Viva la Verve sketches.

I used Week's 2 sketch to create this wedding card for my nephew's upcoming wedding!

The sentiment is from Verve's On Occasion set.  I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark and then heat embossed it using Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I punched the flowers, then inked them with Spun Sugar Distressed Ink.  Added adhesive backed pearls to the flower center.  Love how this card turned out!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great week!
God bless!

B is for Baby

Sharing a cute little baby card I put together over the weekend.
I used this sketch from Stamping Bella....
Sketch-5-mar-13 copy

I used Stamping Bella's Snookums, as my focal.  Used my Distress markers and a Tombow blending pen to color the image.  I used a couple old heart stamps that I've had for years to create the background.  Added some doodled lines around the out edge just for fun.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
God bless!

TMS 291 and DeeDee's Digis

Can you believe it's already time for another Tuesday Morning Sketch?

Our sponsor this week is the one and only Deedee's Digis!
If you're not familiar with Deedee's you should really go check out her images, they are sweet!!
For a chance to win some of those wonderful images, just use this weeks sketch as your inspiration.
You can flip it, turn it, change out the shapes - we just need to be able to recognize the basic sketch.  You also aren't limited to the number of other challenges you combine with our sketch.

And now for the sketch....

and a little inspiration from me.....

I used one of the images from Deedee's Bloom and Grow set.
I printed off three copies of the image.  I then colored all three images with my Copics then did a little fussy cutting.  Since I was going for a layered look, for my first layer I cut out the whole flower.  For the second layer, I cut out just the front five petals.  For the third and top layer, I cut out only the front three petals.  Then I layered them together with foam tape.
Here's a close up, so you get a better idea.

I colored some adhesive backed pearls with my copic markers so they matched my card colors.

Now before you run off and get creative, take some time to stop by the other DT blogs, they've got some great cards to share with you!

Thanks for stopping by, can't wait to see what you create!

Here's this weeks sketch....
Told you it was fun!

Here's my card......

I wanted to create something bright and fun to take my mind off these winter blues!
I used DRS  Simple Easter Bunny and Favorite Easter Peep greeting to create this fun Easter card!
I colored the Peep bunny with Copic marker.  I added some homemade enamel dots to the sentiment panel.  I used a stitched circle die from My Favorite Things to cut the three circle panels.  I then stamped or embossed the different panels.  A little ribbon/button accent and my card is ready to brighten someones day!

Now be sure to stop by the other DT members blogs, they've got some awesome inspiration to share with you!
