TMS #307

Who's ready for another Tuesday Morning Sketch?

We have a wonderful sponsor this week!
This week's challenge is sponsored by All Dressed Up.  The prize will be 2 images of the winner's choice!

Love cute images? You will love All Dressed Up!

Some of the All Dressed Up designers are joining us this week, so be sure to check out their wonderful creations!

Now for the sketch....

and here's my card.....

Sorry, the picture is a little dark, it's another cloudy, rainy day.
I decided to flip the sketch so that it better fit my image.
I used this adorable image called On My Farm.  You get two images. this one and one with a fence and cow in the scene.  I decided to go with the simpler image this time.  Since the image reminded me of the song Old McDonald, I had to add the e-i-e-i-o to the banner!  I think it makes a fun card for a little boy!

Now be sure to stop by and leave a little love for the TMS design team!

And stop by the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog to see the creations from the All Dressed Up designers!

Thanks for stopping by, can't wait to see what you create!
God bless!

TMS #306

It's Tuesday Morning and you know what the means?!
We've got a new sketch to play with!

Our sponsor this week is SVG Attic.
SVG Attic is a sweet little shop with amazing artists bringing you fun SVG cutting files that can be used with your favorite electronic cutting machine/software.

Now for the sketch....

and my take....

My card features the Give A Hoot SVG cut file.
I just received my Silhouette Cutting Machine this past Christmas from by wonderful hubby.
I am still learning all the different things this machine can do!
I used Owl 5 and the Swirly Branch.  I used the swirly branch for the element that runs across the inside panel.  I used a cloud embossing folder on the panel behind the owl.  I added some faux stitching to the panel and to the leaves on the branch.  I think it gives it a fun look.
I stamped the sentiment in the top corner instead of the bottom corner; it just fit better there!

Now hop on over to the other designers blogs and check out their take on this weeks sketch.

Now it's time to go get crafty! Remember to link up your card to the Tuesday Morning Sketch blog spot for your chance to win some SVG Attic goodies!

Hey Tuesday Morning Sketchers!

It's my birthday and I'm celebrating by sponsoring this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge.

I think the DT needs to win something too don't you??  So I'm going to have my CTMH and Facebook friends and would like all of you to vote for your favorite artwork created by the 6 Design Team artists!!  The DT winner gets to pick out the Close to My Heart stamp set or paper pack of their choice up to $20!!

How's that for you it's MY birthday but I'M giving the gifts :o)  so head on over to my blog and vote!!  There's another chance for YOU to win if you do!!

Yes, you read that right, another chance to win!!

Now here is this week's sketch....

and here is my card....

I've had quite a few graduations this year, so I created this graduation card with one of the wonderful sentiment circles that Patti so generously sent.
Cut out a circle mat with a stitched circle die, then adhered the sentiment to the circle mat.  I cut some fish tail banners and added a little stitching across the top of the banners.  A couple graduation brads and some sequins add some fun!

Now be sure to stop by the other DT members blogs and check out their fabulous creations!

Can't wait to see what you create!
Remember to stop by Patti's blog to vote, your vote gets you another chance to win!

God bless!

Watercolor Hop!

Had a little time to create this weekend.
Knocked out another graduation card.  This one is going to a very special young lady.
Since I watercolored this beautiful Unity image, Reach for the Stars by Phyllis Harris, with Distress Inks and a water brush, I decided to join Pretty Pink Posh's Watercolor Blog Hop.
watercolor.bloghop

After watercoloring the image, I decided to add some stars using a stencil and some gold glitter gel.
I have mixed feelings on how it turned out.  But since it's my first time using glitter gel, I will say it was a learning experience.
Thanks for stopping by my little corner of blogdom!
Have a great week!  God bless!

TMS #303

Happy Tuesday morning!
I am so excited to share this week's sketch!
This is the first sketch that I've designed for Tuesday Morning Sketches!
I hope you like it!
We have a really sweet sponsor this week also, Sweet and Sassy Stamps!!
They are a wonderful, faith filled company, and they carry some awesome stamps!  One random winner will be picked from this week's entries.

Now for my very first TMS sketch!

and my card....

I used one of the beautiful verses from Sweet and Sassy's Shining Light set.
I stamped the sentiment then cut it out with a stitched die.  I added a few stars to the background with a stencil and some Pumice Stone Distress Ink.  Some navy and silver stars, sequins and small star dazzle stickers accent the side of the sentiment panel.

Now check out the other DT creations!

I hope you have fun with this sketch, can't wait to see what you create!
