Don't Worry

Created this card using three different inspirations!  I used the layout from the Viva la Verve February Challenge over at SCS.  I used the color inspiration over at Flourishes Birthday Blog Hop and I used the tutorial for how to make lace rosettes from Really Reasonable Ribbons!  The stamp set I used is Kids at Play from Flourishes.  It has cute shadow images of kids that are great for celebration/birthday cards.  Really Reasonable Ribbons has a great and easy tutorial on how to make lace rosettes.  Wish I had some nice crochet lace but I had to make due with what I had on hand.  I have given up buying any crafty supplies for Lent! 40 days of no shopping!  Yes it is a hard Lenten promise to keep, but not compared to the sacrifice Jesus made for me!  Thanks for stopping by!  God bless!!

Entered in the following challenges:
Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #66
Flourishes Birthday Birthday Blog Hop
Viva la Verve February Week One challenge

  1. Given up crafty supplies for Lent?? Isn't that like giving up therapy?? LOL! I hear you though -- the reason is so worth it. Love this creation Kris - from the clean and classy layout to that darling little sentiment accented with lace. I know Jan will love this one!
