Good Tuesday morning!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!!
We have one of my favorite sponsor's this week, Bugaboo!!
Bugaboo is one of my all time favorite digital image stores, so many fun images to choose from!
So to win some Bugaboo awesomeness for yourself, just follow this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch to create a card. Then link it up over at the Tuesday Morning blog. We will pick one random entry to win some Bugaboo images!
So on to this week's sketch....
As you can see, I flipped the sketch.
I used one of the newer Bugaboo images, Spring Elephant 1. The original image has flowers and a butterfly, but since I was fussy cutting, I cut them out to save time. Plus since this card is for my grandson's 2nd birthday, I think it looks a little more masculine without the flowers. I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils. I sponged some clouds onto the blue oval panel. I cut the balloon with my Silhouette. I then applied black ink to the edges of the balloon so it looks more like a stamped image, I did add some glitter to the little heart on the elephant. Note to self - clean tip of glitter pen before adding glitter to next object. I ended up with a little red glitter line on my balloon because I didn't think to clean my glitter pen tip before I added glitter to the balloon, so I accidentally transferred some red ink from the heart, to the balloon. I popped the image and the balloon up with foam tape for some dimension. A little black string ties the balloon to the elephant's trunk.
Now be sure to check out what the other design team members created.
Remember to link up your creation by Sunday evening to be in the random draw for some Bugaboo images!
Thanks for stopping by! God bless!

This is the cutest card I've ever seen! What an adorable image and way to go on customizing to fit your needs by adding the balloon. I would have never guessed that was a cut rather than a stamp. I love it.
ReplyDeleteHappy 2nd birthday to your grandson.
