Welcome back for this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch!
We are starting the new year off with some old sketches!
The DT have each picked a favorite sketch from 2015, this week we have Jenee's pick.
Our sponsor this week is Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet - home of digital stamps and papers by a variety of artists that are sure to spark every creative taste.
So here is your sketch to play with this week,..
and here is my card featuring Stitchy Bear's Golf Bag image.
I left the image uncolored, which really made for a quick masculine card! I used an old Stampin Up Hodgepodge Hardware to frame my sentiment. This simple sentiment can be used for a variety of occasions. I inked up around the edges of my panels to lend a little bit of an aged look to my card.
Be sure to stop by the other DT blogs, they have some great inspiration ready for you!
Now it's our turn! I can't wait to see what you create!
God Bless!

Quite a nice card. I really like the metal piece as it truly compliments the image and keeps the masculine feel of the card.
ReplyDeleteFabulous masculine card. Thanks so much for sharing your art with us. I love having you play along in our challenge.

What a perfect guy card! I'll have to check out that stamp :)
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a perfect masculine card! I love it when you can get away with not coloring and it still look so well finished. Hodge Podge hardware! I haven't thought of that kit in a long time. I never did bring myself to purchasing it.
ReplyDeleteFabulous masculine card Kris.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful masculine card, Kris!! I think that's a bold move to leave the image uncolored, but it's perfect!!
ReplyDeleteLove the golf bag ,uncolored! This sure makes a wonderful masculine card !
ReplyDeleteThis is great for the boys.. We are so blessed you joined our Challenge weeks ago and would love for you to join our new Challenge still ongoing at Word Art Wednesday. Want to leave you with the inspiration of the Scripture in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 which says, "But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. " Have a lovely week.
