Ombre Thank You

Took a little time off of cleaning and tax prep to play this weekend.
Getting my Christmas thank you cards done, now it's time to restock the card stash!
I used the sketch over at MFT Sketch Challenge this week to create this little card.

Instead of searching through my pink paper stash, I inked up a panel with 5 different shades of Distress Ink in various shades of pink and red.  After blending the inks, I spritzed with water for a little more interest.  I then used a Thanks die from MFT's  Many Thanks set, to cut out five words.
I adhered the words to a panel that had been embossed with hearts.  I accented the card with hearts cut from silver glitter paper, some pink sequins, and some silver dots left from the heart die.
I thinks I should have switched the last two thanks for a better ombre look!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!  Hope you enjoyed your visit!!

  2. What a beautiful "thankful" card. We are so blessed you joined our Challenge weeks ago and would love for you to join our new Challenge still ongoing at Word Art Wednesday. Want to leave you with the inspiration of the Scripture in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 which says, "But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. " Have a lovely week.
