TMS 335 Birthday card

Welcome back for another fun sketch with Tuesday Morning Sketches!
This week we have Melissa's favorite sketch from 2015.

We also have a fantastic sponsor and a wonderful prize!
We are joined this week by a new sponsor.  Jennifer Tomasic Sinsley, Close to My Heart Independent Demonstrator.  She is offering Assorted Edges (D size stamp set).
Woot!Woot! Who wouldn't want this fantastic stamp set!

Now for the sketch -
and here's my card....

Over the last few week's I have been converting all my old wood mount stamps to cling.  This really helps with the storage space!   These are some of my converted stamps.  The stamps I used for this card are some of the oldest in my collection.  Years ago Close to my Heart was known as D.O.T.S.  This was the start of my addiction!
I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored them with Copics.  I added a little bit of black thread to he balloon.  I coated the thread with Tombow Aqua Mono Liquid Glue.  This allowed me to shape the string and adhere it to the card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Please visit the other DT blogs for more wonderful inspiration!

Now it's your turn to play!  Can't wait to see what you create!

  1. Hi Kris,

I need to sort out my stamp collection too. I always THINK I will do this and weed them down... but all it does is remind me of some nice older ones I have LOL!

I love the prezzie's and balloons - your card is wonderful.

    blessings!

  3. Wonderful birthday card Kris! I love the dimension and I really love the pierced (or stitched) die you used. I guess those are tiny stitches. Love!
